The science revolution period began at the end of the renaissances era. this was the beginning of science which brought new ideas which included physics, astronomy, human anatomy, chemistry and biology. this continued through to the 18th century the later period was the enlightenment. This was the base of modern science. Science also started to lean away from the church and would use logic and theories through science.
Science revolution is shown today through industrialization and mass production (modern) all sciences to physics, chemistry etc. . This would include cars, computers, new ideas and inventions it also led to modern medicine. all of these things would not have become what it has today without the science revolution
artists that use new media,as it benefits what there trying to portray through there ideas and enhances what there trying to do. there are many advantages with using new media for example candle wax and natural organic material, these are a few examples of what can be used also new technology such as projection and other technical material such as photoshop, video, and sound media all enhance and bring new ideas of the artist.
Pipilotti rist has used new media buy using projection through her art works to enhance her them of body, sex and other perceptions of sexuality and gender. the projections makes the art work more enhanced to the idea and viewers can have a better experience of the pieces
"Ever is over all" from Pipilotti Rist are two video projections merged together onto a wall in an art gallery space. One merged video of the piece is a women prancing happily down a street smashing car door windows with a plastic flower and on the other merged video is a flower moving in the wind. The sound and scale of the work impacts on the audience as the can view the piece like a movie and surround sound, this would engage more with the viewer of the piece.
i feel that the reason or idea of the content of this piece is about a corrupt women who is confused in what she does or maybe she is depressed. using the idea of her walking down the street smashing windows suggest she's mad but happy at the same time prancing happily.
